A group of women sharing faith, fun, and friendship is one of the rare gems that women desire but don’t take the time to treat themselves to. A group of women has been involved in a small faith-sharing group for six years.
The Easter Basket Food Drive is collecting 15-ounce canned fruit again this year. Our goal is 2,000 cans, so we need your help! Please donate 15-ounce cans of any kind of fruit–such as pineapples, peaches, pears, and fruit cocktail.
Our parish “why statement” explains our noble purpose as a Catholic faith community. The statement also describes how and what we do to achieve our purpose.
WHY? We answer the call to love and serve by walking with Christ.
HOW? As a Catholic community, we love God and others by devoting our time, talent and treasure. “For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” Matthew 6:21.
WHAT? As a Catholic community, we offer a spiritual home that transforms lives by:
--Meeting spiritual needs using God’s Word and the sacraments and by nurturing a personal relationship with Christ.
--Achieving a deep sense of belonging to the Saint Matthew Parish family.
--Inspiring personal growth and growing God’s Kingdom.
