The National Catholic Youth Conference returns to Indianapolis Nov. 21-23 bringing 30,000 participants from across the U.S. The local steering committee needs close to 1,000 adult volunteers for hospitality, safety, and logistics support.
Thank you for supporting Saint Matthew teen participation at the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) in November. If you haven’t already, please return your M & M containers with a donation by Sept. 10 in the collection basket or at the parish office.
Our parish “why statement” explains our noble purpose as a Catholic faith community. The statement also describes how and what we do to achieve our purpose.
WHY? We answer the call to love and serve by walking with Christ.
HOW? As a Catholic community, we love God and others by devoting our time, talent and treasure. “For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” Matthew 6:21.
WHAT? As a Catholic community, we offer a spiritual home that transforms lives by:
--Meeting spiritual needs using God’s Word and the sacraments and by nurturing a personal relationship with Christ.
--Achieving a deep sense of belonging to the Saint Matthew Parish family.
--Inspiring personal growth and growing God’s Kingdom.
