A message from the principal:

Dear Students and Parents of SMS:

We are heading in to the final lap of the school year. Our students in grades 3 through 8 have completed the first portion of the Spring ISTEP+ and have one more round in late April, early May. The results should be available at the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year.

It is always a busy springtime with Holy Week and Easter activities, spring break, spring musical, band concert, 8th grade Washington trip, Field Day, Walk-a-thon, Mary’s May Crowning, and, of course, graduation for our 52 8th grade students. As I look over the enrollment of this year’s graduates, once again, nearly all are continuing their Catholic education at Bishop Chatard, Cathedral, or Brebeuf Jesuit. We wish all our students the best in their coming high school years.

Continue to keep teachers posted of your concerns and compliments, too. It has been a great school year. Thank you for your continued support.
