Do you have a 4, 5, 6, or 7-year-old (or older) who hasn’t been baptized? Would you still like for your child to receive the Sacraments? It’s not too late.
Please know that a child must have been baptized Catholic to receive First Communion. If they are 7 and have not been Baptized, it is Church law that they attend 8 months of RCIC classes. It is much easier to have a child baptized before age 7.
This year and this year only, St. Matthew is offering abbreviated RCIC classes for children who might not have been baptized as infants. If you are interested in catching your child up on his or her sacraments, please contact the Director of Faith Formation, Jeni Lengerich Pleiss, by Sept. 6.
