We are the Body of Christ, but how often do we consider exactly what that means? What sets us apart from the rest of the world as members of Christ’s own body? These are the questions confronted head-on by St. Paul in his Letter to the Ephesians. Authors of the study are Scott Hahn and Mark Shea, who expertly lead you to contemplate what it means for you to share in Christ’s Body.
In the accompanying video for each session, Fr. Matthew Kauth urges you to accept this challenge as you learn the following:
· What “new thing under the sun” God has done for us
· How the relationship between husband and wife points to Christ and His Church
· Why “justification by faith” is only the beginning of a truly Christian life
St. Paul’s unquenchable passion for the faith is obvious in this beautiful epistle, as well as his passion for the mystery of Jesus Christ. His goal was to open people’s minds to the fundamental question of who Jesus is, and why we should care. Let St. Paul’s words fill you with renewed zeal as he sets you on the road of the saints.
Registration deadline for the study is Aug. 22. Signup sheets will be in the narthex. For more information or to sign up directly, please contact Leslie Kerr at (501) 590-6673.
