As many of you know, our former pastor here at St. Matthew, Fr. Paul Shikany, recently retired from full-time active priestly ministry after 46 years of service to the Archdiocese.  We know many St. Matthew parishioners wanted to show their appreciation for his 9+ years of service here, so we are hosting a small reception for him in the Community Room after the 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday, August 23.  Fr. Paul has agreed to do the Mass, and then he will be available in the Community Room to talk to in more of an Open House-style format.  Please join us if you want to say Thank You to Fr. Paul.
