Faith Formation

FAITH FORMATION COMMISSION guides all sacraments and faith formation for children, youth, and adults. Contact the parish office.

Infant Baptism Preparation is a one-on-one session for parents preparing for the baptism of their first child.

Marriage Preparation Sponsors assist couples preparing for marriage. The time commitment is one training session, and then you are asked to meet twice with each engaged couple.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process for welcoming new members into the Catholic Church and preparing them to celebrate the sacraments of initiation. Numerous opportunities to serve/volunteer include catechetical team, sponsors, prayer partners, and hospitality. This group meets most Wednesday mornings (from September through May).

Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC) is the process for welcoming children ages 7 and older into the Catholic Church and preparing them for the sacraments of initiation. Numerous opportunities to serve/volunteer include catechetical team, sponsors, prayer partners, and hospitality. The group meets from November through April.

Shepherds Flock is a religious education program for adults with special needs, sponsored by St. Matthew, St. Andrew, and St. Lawrence Parishes. Meets 12 Mondays from September through May. This program is a wonderful way to celebrate people of all abilities.
