Did you know that at each home the St. Matthew/SVdP volunteers visit, clients are given a bag of groceries?
We average 6 visits per month, and our food pantry is getting sparse. After each Mass Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 we are having a Drive Through Food Donation. Signs will direct you to drive around the south of church towards the rectory where we will collect your donations. No need to get out of your car. Items needed are nonperishable and non-expired items such as:
•Breakfast food
•Peanut butter & jelly
•Canned tuna or chicken, canned fruit, vegetables, soup, chili, beans
•Spaghetti sauce; pasta; mac & cheese; instant potatoes & rice; hamburger, tuna, or chicken helper
•Also, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, and dish detergent.
You can always drop off nonperishable items in the SVdP cart in the hallway leading to the school & parish office. There are blue SVdP bags on the hooks above the cart that you can take home and return with food items. We will also take food donations to the SVdP food pantry. They are always in need of food items.
Thank you for your generous donations.
